Donations and Logistics Coordinator

We need a donations and logistics coordinator! We are looking for someone to help coordinate donations (pickups and drop offs) by calling our families and working with our volunteers. This volunteer will be required to fill out our work-ticket forms and update our volunteer pages so we can get the help out to those who need it in the most efficient way possible! We anticipate this position to require approximately 4 - 10 hours per week.

Content Writer / Publisher:

We are in DESPERATE need of a creative and competent writer to develop, publish and maintain our community newsletter and blog! We are looking for someone who can help us convey the recent happenings, the upcoming needs of our ministry and do a little research to help raise awareness of the issues we're trying to solve. This is semi-permanent position but we're opening it to a few volunteers to enable collaboration! We sincerely hope to be able to publish a monthly newsletter and weekly blog with your help!

Volunteer Needs Poster:

Volunteer Opportunity Editor - Yes we actually need someone to take our needs, post them on our Website and MeetTheNeed.org so we can actually get volunteers! It takes about 20 minutes per need so what we're going to do is get a commitment in blocks of an hour. Sign up ahead of time so we know that you're available to make the changes!

Social Media Editor:

Tech savvy, creative writer needed to help us stay current! We are looking for a content editor and social media leader to drive our various platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter. This volunteer will also be required to update our web content with new events, videos and images and content - A knowledge of WordPress is highly recommended. This is a position that could be long term if the fit is right! We are currently looking for about 5 - 10 hours per week.

Movers for Pickups and Deliveries:

We need able-bodied individuals! We are looking for some folks over the age of 16 (minors must have parental consent) to help pick up donations and transport to our storage facility, make donation visits to our families or make recycle runs. You must be able to lift more than 50 lbs. We are typically lifting couches, beds and dressers but we have lots of smaller items too! Please note that NOT ALL TIMES and DAYS will be required - this is dependent on many scheduling factors. If you do sign up, please be available for the entire block because we may have to travel to several locations.
