CAS programs were developed to make the most impact to local and regional communities and to enable community members with the abilities to address the problems we see day-to-day.  As you can see from the information on our website we are faith based.  This very fact ensures that CAS will does not limit services or partnerships based on race, religion, color, creed, sex, age, national origin or any other factor.  We simply want to love our neighbors.  Our program methodology is simple and it begins with a new outlook and a fresh S-T-A-R-T.

CAS is Christ centered and Christ driven. We believe that without Him we as individuals or as an organization cannot accomplish anything. As long as we are all still breathing we owe it to him to grow the Kingdom he died on a cross to provide us. While we work to assist those in need through our various programs, we want everyone to know that our number one objective is to give those that haven’t yet made the commitment to Christ an opportunity to do so. We can have a personal relationship with God through salvation, God’s free gift to man. It is not a result of what we do, but it is only available through God’s unearned favor. By admitting we have sinned and believing in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ, and accepting Him as Lord, we can spend eternity with God. (Romans 5:1, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 3:24)
The Tranzition program provides transitional assistance to families and individuals in the process of moving from homeless shelters to temporary or semi-permanent housing. We believe that being able to provide even the smallest of things can help restore someone’s hope when trying to get back on their feet. Through God’s grace we have been able to provide household goods, furniture, clothes and other materials needed to help our families establish the beginnings of a home. Ultimately, if we can help someone transition into a home, we believe there’s a good chance they’re ready to transition to a new level in their relationship with Christ. Founding Scripture: “I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. (Matthew 25:36)”
The CAS Advantage program provides meals and life-goods assistance to families and individuals that are struggling to make ends meet, going through emotional crisis or just need someone out there to show them Christ’s love. We believe that the act of preparing a meal, delivering it and having fellowship with those who need it can help begin the restoration process in tattered and tired souls. In addition, we are also glad to provide meal planning assistance and couponing lessons so those that can make it past the first hill can sustain their achievements and continue supporting their families. The life-goods portion of Advantage provides gifts such as bill payment, free maintenance (home or vehicle), life-skills training, school supplies, school lunch cards and more. Founding Scripture: “Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble. (1 Peter 3:8)”
The CAS Reach NOW program is broad community outreach that specifically involves partners, their volunteers and immediate impact activities for issues facing our community where we may not necessarily have core programs. We know that Churches, small-groups, community organizations, and others want to help their communities in any way they can but sometimes find it difficult to “get plugged in”. Have no fear – CAS is here to get you plugged in! If you have a program that can support our families and individuals there is no shortage of need! CAS also directly supports (through our partners) these community programs: Domestic abuse programs (child advocacy, battered women, etc.) Severe Homelessness (warming center shifts, shelter support, food boxes, hygiene kits propane delivery, shower runs, etc.) Invisible Hunger (child hunger, before and after school support, lunch boxes) Holiday Programs (meals, coat drives, gift giving, etc.) Founding Scripture: “The sleep of a laborer is sweet, whether he eats little or much, but the abundance of a rich man permits him no sleep (Ecclesiastes 5:12)”
The CAS Trafifk STOP program provides direct and indirect support for the victims of Human Trafficking in Prince William and surrounding counties. Our goal is to get young girls and young women ages 14 – 24 the help they need by increasing awareness, providing direct emancipation and getting those victims connected directly to those organizations equipped to deal with this global issue that has laid roots here in our community. We have another objective as well and that is to keep our families and individuals that are members of our programs out of harm’s way because we know they too are very susceptible to falling into the trap of Trafficking. Founding Scripture: “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy (Proverbs 31:8-9)”
